CHALLENGE TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE EUC

As we have previously reported, both the convening of the EUC General Assembly and its development, and especially the chaotic collection of signature sheets, we believe are serious violations of the regulations that regulate the Entity.

As we have also informed them, on November 2 and 3, several owners went to the Administration offices asking to see the voting sheets, which they were not allowed in contravention of the law and the EUC Statutes.

In view of all this, on November 8 the Neighborhood Association presented an appeal by electronic office before the Ayamonte City Council challenging the holding of the General Assembly held on October 29, requesting its cancellation and that of all the agreements adopted therein.

The appeal letter is available to anyone who requests it at secretariacera@gmail.com

After the filing of that appeal, on November 10, the minutes of the meeting were published on the EUC website.

After analyzing it, again several owners went to the Administration offices requesting to see the voting sheets.

After much insistence and a long wait, the review of the voting sheets revealed several questions that raise doubts about the voting.

For this reason, the Association has presented a new appeal before the Ayamonte City Council, as the guardianship body of the EUC, challenging the votes, and therefore also requesting the nullity of all the agreements adopted, as well as requesting precautionary measures with so that as soon as the resources presented are substantiated, the Governing Council of the EUC limits its management to day-to-day matters.

Likewise, this second resource is available to whoever requests it at secretariacera@gmail.com

  1. What is the next step of escalation if the City Council, as Guardian, do not satisfactorily address these problems and the problems of the inaccurate accounts? Is there a registrar, regulator or ombudsman? Or is the only recourse to the courts?
