The planting of new trees is in the process of being done quite rapidly and we will soon see the replacement of large amounts of trees around Costa Esuri which unfortunately damaged the pavements, streets and (although not visible) the underground water pipes and lighting conduits.
When the planting of the new trees has been done, we will have:
On Avenida Juan Pablo II and on the Paseo Blasco Ibáñez: Sophora Japónica, better known as Acacia of Japan, Tree of the Pagodas or Sófora.
It is a beautiful tree that, contrary to its name, is native to China. It blooms in summer in clusters of cream-white flowers.

In Calle Miguel de Unamuno and Calle José de Espronceda, Aligustre Variegata
Small, white and very fragrant flowers. After summer, it is decorated with small bluish-black berries that have sometimes been used as dyes in wines.

In Calle Rosalia de Castro, Albizias will be planted, also called the Silk Tree or Acacia of Constantinople.
It blooms in spring and flowering extends into summer.
It is a beautiful tree, with elegant foliage, very common in all coastal areas and will give Costa Esuri a tropical feel.
Albizias
Calle Francisco de Quevedo and Calle Rubén Darío will have Prunus Cerosifera, or Garden Plum, among many other names.
It has red leaves, which make a nice contrast to the abundant white or pale pink blooms that occur at the end of winter.

Other streets – López de Ayala, Bartolomé de las Casas, Miguel Delibes, López de Rueda, Gonzalo de Berceo, Jorge Guillén, Arcipreste de Hita, etc. – Aligustre Verde will be planted.
It has a very dense, green foliage with a yellowish band at the edges, and white fragrant flowers, which appear in late spring and early summer.

217 trees have been removed or uprooted, but 275 new trees will be planted in their place.
